At the start of October, in this month someone speculated if there would bea big plunge of talk about prices, as there had been similar situations in October in the history. Fortunately, nothing serious happened. October was a quite month for equity market This. Investors may be waiting for the result of US presidential election.

Daily price motion of stock prices has been slow. My collection did better somewhat. Its value rose 0.25% in the month. I didn’t buy any stock as I had been busy with my work (perhaps also waiting at the sideline). This month I did not take part in the IPOs. Going forward, I will continue steadily to build up my cash portion and look for good investment opportunities.

Waiting may be the overall game plan at this moment. Below are the top 30 holding as at 31 October 2012. Not much movement within, except at thebottom of the table. Yangzijiang slipped due to price fall off, Sing Inv price slipped after XR. This two were replaced by Cambridge and Transpac.
