I have no idea who I believe I am recently, but I’ve been splurging on luxury makeup. 700 proceeded to go into my recent blog sale, the others was given away) — I made a decision to treat myself to some go for luxury items. I have plenty of high-end makeup, but a small number of luxury makeup products in my collection.
80 range; that’s expensive! And that is also why up until very recently I got never purchased any of his makeup. When there is one makeup category I am all for splurging on, it’s a base (water or powder formula). So after i decided to try a Tom Ford item, I knew I wanted to get one of these base product.
I’m presently still in love with my Marc Jacobs Remarcable Full Cover Foundation, so I didn’t want to try another liquid base, but I did want to try a powder foundation. That’s once i purchased the Tom Ford Flawless Powder Foundation. Achieved it surpass my expectations? Am I just paying for a name? This versatile foundation glides onto skin with a silky, light as air method to create a natural-looking and perfect canvas for color.
Designed to be worn as a buildable basis offering light to medium coverage or as a lavish finishing powder, it features micro-fine, light-reflecting powders for a luminous finish off. Carries a special sponge applicator to build coverage or set the look. Use flocked white side for a sheer, natural finish off. Use flat-sponge beige part for a full-coverage effect.
Currently available in 8 shades. This is what leading and back of the container looks like. Select them to see larger. The compact comes in a little suede pouch, which really is a nice touch, but I am going to likely never again use that pouch. I’ve had products come with them before, even lipsticks, and they always finish up tossed in the trash. 80 powder will probably be worth the extra level of protection. The small is your typical Tom Ford compact size and look (same size/look as his shadow quads).
The flocked aspect is for a more sheer program of powder – great for touch-ups too. I find the shade 4.0 Fawn. For guide, in MAC I’m NC25/NC30. Are several Before & After pics Below. Go through the pic below to view them larger. It was applied by me with the sponge part to get the coverage, and it’s just one layer.
You could build it up. For me, I was impressed with the coverage alone really. It certainly can provide you a good medium coverage. It isn’t a full/complete coverage. 80 powder after i am happy with the coverage and how I’m using it. I actually purchased this to use as a finishing natural powder to give my face a perfect, airbrushed look.

But I ended up also being happy wearing it alone. EASILY need to just run an instant errand I don’t feel like I must do my normal basis program and can instead just apply this natural powder basis in about 30 seconds and be out the door. When worn alone you will not even feel it on your skin layer.
It’s incredibly light weight, silky smooth and appears nice really. Gives your skin a wholesome look; not just a flat matte that the majority of powders can provide you. Your day continues on it appears more and more luminous As. Doesn’t look heavy or cakey in any way. On me, it endures (with out a primer) for about 4 hours before I notice I have to touch-up – but even at that point you don’t should touch it up. If anything, you may want to blot and you’re best for another 1 to 3 hours.
